SAMS Fall athletics begin Tuesday, Sept. 2nd.

6/7/8 Boys and Girls Cross Country 2:30-3:30
6/7/8 grade Field Hockey 2:30-4:30
7/8 grade Football 2:45-5
7th grade Boys Soccer 4-5:15
8th grade Boys soccer 5:15-6:30
7th grade Girls Soccer TBD
8th grade Girls Soccer TBD

6/7/8 grade Cheering Starts Thursday Sept 4th right after school in the cafeteria.

All Fall programs are currently non-cut.

All necessary paperwork needs to be completed and turned into the office in order to be eligible to participate. These include: Insurance (proof of health insurance or Maine Care), Athletic Code, and the Completed Health Questionnaire.

All students must have proof of a current physical.

🦅 Our River Hawk had quite the summer before joining us back at Skowhegan Area Middle School!

From meal planning in the kitchen 🍴 to setting sail on an Alaskan cruise 🚢 … from learning big ideas at a leadership conference 🌟 to soaking up the sun at the beach 🏖️ … even helping with recycling ♻️ and fitting in a round of golf ⛳ — the River Hawk stayed busy!

Now, just a few days into the school year, we can already feel that same excitement and energy in our classrooms. It’s been a fantastic first week back, and we can’t wait to see what this year brings. 🧡

Here’s to soaring high in 2025!
